Jargon

Throughout the blog I use some words or phrases that you may be unfamiliar with. Here's a little vocab list to keep you in the know.

Suggestions? Leave them in the comments box!

The Farm--The nearly 700 acre farm in Manchester, TN where Bonnaroo takes place every year. It is officially named Great Stage Park. More info about it can be found here.

Bonnaroovian--The officially unofficial name for anyone who attends Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival.

Centeroo--The heartbeat and 24-hour central area of Bonnaroo featuring all stages except the What Stage. Centeroo  also features various vendors, art installations, amusements, activity areas, and the cinema and comedy tents.

What Stage, Which Stage--These are the main music venues at Bonnaroo. What Stage is located inside of the main venue and is the largest stage featuring headliners on Friday through Sunday nights. Which stage is the second stage and is located in Centeroo and usually features late night sets after an unopposed headliner over at the What stage.

This Tent, That Tent, The Other Tent--The three tertiary stages of Bonnaroo. These tented venues are located in Centeroo and feature artists from early afternoon through late night.

Pod--Pods are the hubs for each section of campground at Bonnaroo. They are numbered and usually named for Star Wars, Family Guy and other pop culture characters. Bonnaroo.com says, "Every campground will be close to a POD, where you’ll find bathrooms, hand-washing stations and fresh drinking water. Showers are available for a nominal fee. Each POD is designated by a number on a large balloon that can be seen from a distance, to help you navigate."
